A cell (Duracell D) has got stuck in the barrell of my 3 D cell torch. All efforts to pry it loose with a sharp intrument have failed.
Most likely the Duracell Battery in there is corroded and had fused itself to the inner aluminum wall of the light. MagLite warranties their flashlight if damage from a battery was caused by either a Duracell, Ever-ready or Ray-O-Vac battery. Same thing happened to me, I brought it to their Repair Center in Ontario, CA and they tried to remove the battery while I waited, they couldn't remove it so the gave me a brand new flashlight. They are real good about backing up their product. www.maglite.com
