Guide :Camping, Backpacking & Hiking : Mag Lite Led 2 Cell Aa Flashlight Select Color

I have a 3AA LED mini maglite with stuck batteries. The best I can tell they have not leaked. I tried freezing the unit as well as heating the barrel to no avail. Is there a way of removing the bulb assembly out the top so I can use a dow to tap the batteries out? If not, how can I get them out? Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, I have a 3 cell mini maglite AA with a corroded battery stuck up next to the LED. I have searched but not found a way to remove the LED to push out the battery with a dowel. The best solution I read about was to drill a hole in the battery and insert a large screw and pull it all out. (My Maglite is from 2009 or 2010, but I think they made this model in 2011, 2012 and 2013- this is for SEO!)

2AA LED Maglite not working

The Led are most likely not burned out they last 10,000 hours or more. Sounds more like defect.

Repair for Innova GT 3 led, 3 AA battery flashlight.

Before doing serious damage, check for a poor ground to the case. I have worked on a couple of these and some of the manufacturers seem to believe a solder connection to an anodized aluminum case is going to work. Use a tool with a sharp point to scratch through the anodized layer to expose a clean metal ground. You may have to repeat this from time to time as the light fails.

I have an Olight M20 Warrior Premium Flashlight. I believe it is LED. I do not know what is wrong with it, and I want to know where- or how- I could get it fixed. It doesn't turn on anymore. When I press the soft press button to turn it on, it flashes once, very bright, and then doesn't show any more sign of life. I have purchased new batteries, and found out it is not the batteries. Is there somewhere you could recommend to take this in to get it checked out, and/or serviced?

I have a Garrity LED tuflight flashlight with 3 AAA batteries. I recently put new batteries in (the others were weak but not dead). Now I can't get it to work. I am not sure if I am not loading it all right. The batteries are in the battery case correctly but I don't know the order of the items. Battery case and then a little round thing with a spring on one side & metal on the other side. Thanks in advance.

You should load the spring/metal piece in first with the spring facing out. then the batteries.

I simply need to know what the 3 colored LEDs on the handle represent. There is a red one, an orange(yellow) one, and a green one. I lost the manual and need to know when the battery is fully charged. It seems the green one comes on only after it has been plugged into the charger for a while, but then what? How many hours do I leave it on the charger to get the battery fully charged but not over charged? By the way, if you are looking for the DMU 12-3 battery (12 volt 3 AH) I got one from BATTERYSPEC.COM...$16.50 plus $10 shipping.

Red, Yellow, Green are the battery level indicators, Red being the lowest like a fuel gauge. If the green comes on right away after plugging in the charger then it must not indicate the charge cycle. If its a 3Ah battery whats the charger output amperage? Then you could just do the math to figure out how long it would take to charge that battery to full with the output. Otherwise it shouldn't hurt it to leave it plugged in overnight or at least a few hours to charge it.
