The best way to get them out is to remove both ends and tap them out with a solid object. What has happened is they have exploded and expanded against the walls.

Can not get battery out

If this is an alkaline battery, it may be stuck due to corrosion. I would carefully slide a solution of liquid soap and water going a little heavier on the soap. Dial soap is perfect, and let it sit for 24 hours. The batteries should slide right out. Try it

I have a 3AA LED mini maglite with stuck batteries. The best I can tell they have not leaked. I tried freezing the unit as well as heating the barrel to no avail. Is there a way of removing the bulb assembly out the top so I can use a dow to tap the batteries out? If not, how can I get them out? Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, I have a 3 cell mini maglite AA with a corroded battery stuck up next to the LED. I have searched but not found a way to remove the LED to push out the battery with a dowel. The best solution I read about was to drill a hole in the battery and insert a large screw and pull it all out. (My Maglite is from 2009 or 2010, but I think they made this model in 2011, 2012 and 2013- this is for SEO!)

Surefire 6p I was changing the battery in my Surefire 6P flashlight. The back end that has the push button slipped out of my hand and fell in the console of my car. No big deal....at least so I thought. I put the batteries as I always have. But it would not work. Could not get the button to depress. The spring is still in the back end. The button appears to be stuck or something I am just not doing right. Can you assist? Thanks in advance

Have you tryed looking for the button? Or you can try WD-40 but make sure that you wipe it down and when the button slipped out did you drop the flash light cause if you did you need to buy a new bulb.

I purchased a lantern model # jasco 17300 and the light quit working after 6mos use

You may get it repaired but the cost will be the same as buy a new one or much more than get a new lambp. So I suggest you purchase one from online store:http://www.aurabuy.com/outdoors-76-led-ultra-bright-waterproof-headlamp-with-adjustable-band-black-silver-4-aa.html
