Hi,Easy enough. The grey rippled rubber ring around the glass is threaded. Grab it good and tight and twist anti clockwise and it unwinds like a tank track..Hope this helps...

I need the small tool to be able to get into the outer cover( the black button )to be able to change the bulb. where I can replace the bulb.


I believe you have to take the rubber cover over the button off, then push on the edges of the button, it's attached to the light assembly so you can pull it out, call Maglite tech, they'll help. Good luck.
