When hooked up to charger red light blinks. Light will not come on without charger hooked to it.

Hi, i can help. When the lights just blink like that on the charger it is saying that the battery is bad and will no longer take a charge. These flashlight are real impressive but there have also been reports of the charging unit failing. Make sure to clean the contacts well with rubbing alcohol. I had one time that was a real pain if it was not set just perfect on the charger. So there are a couple things to try but I think you just need to get a new set of rechargeable. Lithium batteries like the ones this flashlight uses can't be overcharged or over discharged of they malfunction. CR123A Lithium rechargeables are cheap these days. spring on a new pair and you should be fine. If you have any comments please feel free to leave them here. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa. Regards, Tony

Rechargable Stinger new bulb is dim orange

Could possibly be a bad switch, I would also get that battery tested out also. If you still have a receipt it should be covered under warranty. If not try sending it in anyway. Limited lifetime warranty does not include bulb, or batteries but, anything else on that Stinger should have a lifetime warranty. Of course that excludes abuse. Check out the website and go to FAQ for a nearest Authorized Service Center or send it directly to Streamlight. Address also listed on the website. Hope that helps ;)
