When my E2d. Ed defender. 200 lumens flash light is turn on it act like an strob light how to stop it or is it a weak batteries

No, that is a 'feature'. It is for signalling or blinding an attacker. This is the instructions for the 500 lumen version but it will be the same. Nice light, I run Fenix Tactical. Strobe is usually gained by switching on and then half depressing the button and holding. If this doesn't work, contact Surefire direct. The E2D LED Defender® Ultra is a compact 500-lumen flashlight featuring dual-output capability and self-defense enhancements. Utilizing a virtually indestructible high-performance LED and a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens, the E2DL Ultra is activated with a pushbutton tailcap click switch that also selects output levels: press or click once for a high-intensity 500-lumen white-light beam-ten times the light needed to overwhelm the night-adapted vision of an aggressor. Return to off and press or click again within two seconds for a 5-lumen ultra-long runtime low beam that's suitable for navigating at night or performing close-up tasks for hours. The Defender's crenellated Strike Bezel® provides further defensive options should the need arise. Slender and powerful, the E2DL Ultra is an ideal everyday-carry light.

I would like to repair my Ultrafire SSC-P7 900 Lumen flashlight. The unit only has one mode - dim at @60 lumens. The switch should allow for a Low, Medium, High and Strobe mode. Do I need to replace/upgrade the switch. Or do components on the P7 module need to be relaced... I enjoy DIY. The P7 LED uses 2 X 18650 lithium-ion rechargables. The batteries require a connection between. Others have recommended a Neodymium disc about 1/4'' by 1/16 works fine electrically and mechanically

Hello, The mode is changed on these type of flishlights by momenatry pressing of the switch while it is on. try it i am sure it will work.

I have a E2d Defender and when I turn the light on the light flashes like a strobe light. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks

THIS FLASHLIGHT SHOULD HAVE THREE DIFFERENT LIGHTS WHEN YOU ACTIVE THE SWITCH TO TURN IT ON.FIRST IS THE BRIGHT,SECOND IS THE LOWER BRIGHT AND THE THIRD IS THE STROBE.YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACTIVATE ALL THREE FUNCTIONS OF THE LIGHT BY PUSHING THE SWITCH.HOPE THIS WORKS.IF THIS DOESNT WORK THEN THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SWITCH.
