I am trying to find battery location for Coleman Model 5327A750

William, went to Coleman site, looks like you remove screws on bottom of lantern to access and change battery. Check the attached links to your manual, "I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. I simply need to know what the 3 colored LEDs on the handle represent. There is a red one, an orange(yellow) one, and a green one. I lost the manual and need to know when the battery is fully charged. It seems the green one comes on only after it has been plugged into the charger for a while, but then what? How many hours do I leave it on the charger to get the battery fully charged but not over charged? By the way, if you are looking for the DMU 12-3 battery (12 volt 3 AH) I got one from BATTERYSPEC.COM...$16.50 plus $10 shipping.

Red, Yellow, Green are the battery level indicators, Red being the lowest like a fuel gauge. If the green comes on right away after plugging in the charger then it must not indicate the charge cycle. If its a 3Ah battery whats the charger output amperage? Then you could just do the math to figure out how long it would take to charge that battery to full with the output. Otherwise it shouldn't hurt it to leave it plugged in overnight or at least a few hours to charge it.

Rechargeable maglite won't turn on.

Thank you. This post helped me. I couldn't see the break in the filament of my bulb either so I just figured it had to be the battey so I replaced them and still nothing. After reading this post I put an ohm meter on the bulb and had nothing. Replaced the bulb and it works like a champ again.

Weak light I asked earlier for you folks to determine which I needed to purchase, either a new battery pack or a new transformer. I have a Mag-Lite Model RX1019, Serial 3913062, which I have had for nearly 10 years I think. The light beam is now very much diminished. Please advise which you think I need and where to buy it. If the charge lite comes on when charging it means your transformer is still good. Replace the battery. If you get no charge light transformer is bad, if this is the case (personally) i would replace the charger & battery for that peace of mind. GGBMDB
