My stanley ultra bright led spotlight model sl5w09 flashes very quickly when triger is pulled. will not produce a steady light.

Wiring spotlights to my snowplow/salter trucks


The single wire is the "hot" wire. The return is through the metal body of the spotlight. Run the single wire through the switch. Make sure that when mounting the light. you scrape off the paint to make sure metal is touching metal.

Try loosening the cap of battery compartment. Don't know why, makes no sense to me, but on mine, if I tighten that cap too tight, it won't light up! Loosen a little, I get a beam of light.
