Travel in Europe-4 Must-See Destinations
A travel in Europe will have many exciting places to visit.
From Paris to Rome, from London to Prague, there is no shortage
of sights to behold or monuments to see.
But there are certain places in Europe that have stood the
test of time and are prime tourist attractions for people from
all over the world. Here is a list some of the most popular
ones and what they have to offer you.
1. Paris: This is probably the romantic capital of Western
Europe. And no less is the French language. Visit and see
firsthand the Eiffel Towers that had you had hitherto only seen
pictures of. If you get a little weary, you will find a café
shop around the corner to rest your feet and refresh a little.
The streets here are also historical, so take some time and
revisit the historical evolution of the French and their
cities.
2. Rome: Apart from being the ancient cradle of the Roman
Empire, Rome has still not lost a lot of its own historical
self. You can go and see the Coliseum, where the ancient Romans
used to assemble to watch gladiators fight each other in a
battle of life and death to the amusement of both the nobles
and the ordinary citizens. The Vatican City, with it splendid
architecture and historical churches, is also another very
popular place to explore during your travels in Europe.
3. Athens: Athens is the land of the ancient Greeks and
Grecian civilization. It is considered one of the sources of
European civilization, both politically and philosophically.
Here, you can see the Roman Agora and Acropolis. The museums
and galleries are also here and readily accessible to help you
learn the story of ancient Greece and their evolution into the
modern world.
4. Florence: This is one of the most visited places for
those who travel in Europe. From the exchange student here to
study classic Italian cuisine to the romantic couple out for a
good start on life, it is filled with a diverse range of
visitors from varying backgrounds.
While here, don’t forget to visit the Arno River (and do
some little shopping at its little shops, if you want to.) The
museums and galleries are also readily available to help you
tell the story of Italy, ancient Rome and Florence. Don’t
return home without a memorable experience from here.
A typical travel in Europe does not involve just the
admiration its modern societies, but also a visit and revisit
of the historical narrative of this continent as embodied in
its classic cities, medieval-yet monumental- buildings,
architectural masterpieces and the galleries and museums that
tell these stories in the most graphical of details.
